FAQ on Sunday Services
Below are more details about our in-person Summer Sunday (25th July – 29th August) services.
It is very likely that the detail will change and evolve as time goes on, and we will keep you updated as much as possible.

+ Pre-Booking
We are still asking you to pre-book either online, or by phoning the church office (0117 9791399) so we can keep a track of numbers. We will be limiting our capacity initially to 50 people so we can create a safe experience for those that attend. Please book a seat for each person in your household.
+ Timings and welcome
At the moment, we have one service starting at 9.30am. It will last for around an hour.
+ Our Neighbours
We love our neighbours and want to show them care by respecting their spaces as we use the church building. Please don’t gather in numbers outside people’s houses. Please be aware of driveways and park your car considerately, even better, save the environment and walk if you are able!
+ Hygiene/Face masks
We are still asking you to wear a face mask while you are inside the Church Building – this is to help protect each other, and respecting that some may feel more comfortable as we do this. Hand sanitiser points are still available throughout the building. Our toilets will be available to use.
+ Social Distancing

+ Families
Over our Summer Sundays our Children’s Church Leadership team have made some great plans to gather our kids together at different times/venues. More details available.
+ Service Content
Content will be the same as our online service (www.ebe.org.uk/onlinesundayservice) – some parts will be live, some pre-recorded and shown on the big screen (including worship).
+ Worship
Over our Summer Sundays we will continue to have pre-recorded worship on the screen. We will be able to sing, which is great! We will ask you to keep wearing your face mask as you do this.
+ Access
We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have. Please get in touch prior to your visit so we can make sure the necessary arrangements are made.
+ Communion
We will share communion together in some of our Summer Sundays – this will be made clear when you pre-book for the service. Everyone is welcome to do this, you can bring your own bread & wine/juice (or equivalent), and we will have some available too.
+ Refreshments
Over the Summer we are planning to serve refreshments outside the Church Building after the service.
+ COVID-19 Symptoms
If you have been diagnosed with, or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (persistent cough, high temperature, loss of taste/smell) you must not come to a service. Likewise, if you have been in close contact with someone diagnosed or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please follow the self-isolation guidelines. Please stay at home and stay safe.
