Community Litter Pick
Friday 15th May
Meet at 3.30pm at Ebenezer Church
(286 Filton Avenue, Horfield, BS7 0BA)
We’ll start with a community litter pick to help tidy up our neighbourhood, then come together afterwards to enjoy a FREE simple meal. All are welcome—bring friends, family, or just yourself. Let’s make a positive impact and connect with each other. (Litterpickers and bags all provided)
More details about a Million Acts of Hope will appear below (including other ways to get involved).
What is ‘A Million Acts of Hope’?
Hundreds of other charities, communities and faith groups have come together to launch A Million Acts of Hope - a campaign to bring hope out into the open.
A Million Acts of Hope is a national invitation to celebrate the everyday acts of kindness, care and connection happening across the UK. At a time when division can feel loud, we want to bring together all these everyday acts of hope and shine a light on the people and communities making them happen. In Bristol, our good friends at Bristol Noise charity are partnering to resource, equip and mobilise organisations across the city to continue to build Bristol as a City of Hope.
The A Million Acts of Hope Week of Action will take place 13-20 May.
Most people want to live in strong, healthy, caring communities where everyone feels they belong. A Million Acts of Hope is about making that visible and bringing people from all backgrounds, and all walks of life, together.
