World Mission

We want to encourage the church to be actively involved in blessing the nations spiritually though prayer, finance, going on short or long term mission and by welcoming those of other nations that come to us that they may know Jesus. Over the last few years, we have had people serving in Zambia, Guinea Bissau, East Africa, The Gambia, Australia and on the Anastasis ship in Liberia.

Information from major mission agencies regarding short term mission is available to all those who are considering doing short term mission, from 2 weeks to a year! If you feel God is calling you to long term missionary work, then take the opportunity to meet up early with someone to share and pray, as there may be years of equipping before you go! Please speak to one of the World Missions Team.

What's happening...

In June 2011, the Brind family left us to work in Tanzania for 2 years. They are working for an organisation called Bridge2Aid. Paul and Beth are both dentists and will be based in Mwanza in Tanzania and will be helping to run the Dental Volunteer Programme (DVP). This programme has been running since 2004 during which time over 160 clinical officers have been trained in emergency dentistry. Click here to see a short video of Bridge2Aid's work.

Follow them on their new blogsite or click here to see a live skype interview with them in Tanzania, during a Sunday service in August 2011. (Low quality due to being recorded on a mobile phone)
