  • Being naturally supernatural...

'continually reproducing the life of Jesus...'

15 Jul2015

Being naturally supernatural...

This month at The Gathering we did a bit of a following on from our Sunday morning series - ‘Moving with the Spirit’. We looked at some well known bits from Acts 2 and 1 Corinthians 14, and spent some time breaking it all down and asking if these verses are more than just stories from the past, and how do what they say about the Holy Spirit effect how we live in the day to day stuff of life? Have a read and think on it!

We watched this cracking little video from Soul Survivor’s Naturally Supernatural conference – it’s well worth 20 minutes of your time if you’ve not seen it before (or even if you have).

Naturally Supernatural

It was great to get practical and spend some time praying for friends and situations where we want to see God do some stuff, and just listen for words, pictures, and asking the Holy Spirit to speak through us. Love how he shows up when we just give him a bit of space and ask!

(Still keeping an eye out for an inflatable donkey... :))

We need to be doing this together, so let’s keep sharing the stories, praying for each other, and expecting the Holy Spirit to work in and through us.

Let’s keep chasing down the desire for the extraordinary to become everyday stuff that we see here in our day to day lives.
