Students and Young Adults

Students and young adults are a massively important part of our church family here at Ebe. You might be brand new to Bristol, or have been here a while, either way we would love to get to know you, get you stuck into church, and meeting all kinds of people.

Our ‘1830 Pastorate’ is our community for all students and young adults. We have some regular events that happen every month, and other social stuff, trips and all kinds of fun for you to get involved in.

Have a look at the rest of this page for more info, and for the really up to date news, check out our facebook and twitter pages. Also, check out the amazing Bristol International Student Centre (BISC)! We’re looking forward to meeting you!

1830 Pastorate (student & young adult community)

There are 3 Distinctives of the 1830 Pastorate:

  • A place to experience community
  • A place to grow in relationship with God
  • A place from which to get stuck in, serve, and do Jesus type stuff

  • The Gathering

    Who: the whole 1830 Pastorate
When: 1st Sunday of the month, lunchtime or evening
    Where: usually Ebe Church Building
What: The Gathering looks different each month, but it’s a guaranteed good time to get together, eat food, relax, be challenged, and inspired – not necessarily all at the same time! More details on what’s coming up HERE

  • Who: the whole 1830 Pastorate
When: 3rd Sunday of the month, 1pm
    Where: usually at someone's house
What: Lunch and chat, taking on some real life stuff. More details on what’s next  HERE.

  • Social stuff
We’re all different! Maybe you love a good film, hitting the local pub quiz, a night out, something sporty, eating food, having a drink – whatever it is, suggest something, or even better organise it, & let’s get some people together!
  • Serving stuffIf we want to be more like Jesus, it’s going to involve the equivalent of washing some feet …  There are so many opportunities to do this in church, the local community, and in Bristol. Don’t be shy! Let us know via the ‘Get in touch’ link what you’d like to get involved in, and we’ll try and help make that happen. (Check out our ‘Volunteering’ page for ideas HERE)
