What is HOPE08?
Hope 2008 is an initiative of the churches of Britain and Ireland which is helping to demonstrate Christian faith in action and to explain the meaning of that faith in villages, towns and cities throughout the UK.
Throughout the year are different high points of activities -
Fresh ´HOPE´: (January) an opportunity to make a fresh start. Click here for examples of courses ran by churches.
The Big ´HOPE´: Exploring Holy Week and Easter
´HOPE´ Where You Live: (May Bank Holidays) The Church on the street. Eg. 'The Noise 08' weekend
´HOPE´ Explored: (September) Inviting the community to explore the Christian faith. Eg. Alpha Courses, etc.
A Gift of ´HOPE´: (Christmas) Unpacking the Christmas message.
