Winning Ways Social Events are key to building relationships that ‘enter and engage.’ As homegroups at Ebe, we want to spend time to find creative ways of building relationships. This might mean organising BBQ’s, meals, quiz nights, weekends away or using special occasions like sporting occasions (Wimbledon), Eurovision song contest, or using social action like compassion teams, Crisis Centre or fundraising. Every now and again, we organise a larger Church social which is an opportunity to invite friends too. In fact, there is a Winning Ways Church BBQ coming up on Saturday 5th July.

Continue to pray for each other that God would use you to prepare the hearts of your non-believing friends to receive the message of His love. Guest Services are an integral part of the Winning Ways strategy. They allow an opportunity to invite friends to hear a presentation of the gospel. For some, Guest Services are milestones in the journey to faith; for others they are the opportunity to actually make a commitment to Christ. In June, we have committed ourselves to using ‘The Good Life’ Guest Event at the Colston Hall, as our opportunity to bring friends to a guest service. The Next Ebe Guest Service will be on Sunday 16th November, when Philip Jinadu will be speaking. However, there is a strong possibility of a Baptism Service, earlier in the Autumn Term, too.
