![]() Last July, around 20 people from Ebe helped out with the Lockleaze Community Festival. This year we are looking for more and the date is Saturday 12th July, from 2- 5pm. |
Lockleaze Community Festival is organised by Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust and Angela Powell and Stewart North are on the organising committee and have offered to find lots of volunteers to help out. This is part of our ongoing compassion teams initiative to ‘show God’s love in practical ways’.
We are looking for people to help pick up litter before and after the Festival, to help set up stalls and games and any other practical jobs, during the morning. We are also looking for people who would be willing to help run stalls, or the bouncy castle and Gladiator’s podium that Ebe is providing. We are also looking for people who would be willing to do face painting or hair braiding. It is a lot of fun and the Trust were so encouraged and blessed by the help given last year. If you can be involved, then please speak to Angela Powell or Stewart North asap.
In the next issue of Communicate will be details of future plans during Autumn 2003, for our work in Lockleaze. More details on the Lockleaze Community Festival is available on their website - www.northbristol.net/lockleaze |
