Many people in Ebe are in the middle of going through the Winning Ways Course. At the heart of this lifestyle outreach is Prayer. Christians, supported and encouraged by small group life, pray daily for 3 friends who don’t know Christ. This prayer is backed up with action that builds relationship, meets needs and communicates the love of Christ. It’s called "3’s a Crowd".
In 1998, the Teal Trust conducted one of the biggest surveys on prayer in the history of the British church. After analysing literally thousands of questionnaires the Trust published this conclusion: 'Those that pray more are more likely to receive answers to prayer.'

In other words, the more we pray for friends, family and neighbours that don’t know Christ, the more likely we are to receive answers to those prayers.

One woman reported recently that since she’d started praying for her non-Christian husband through "3’s a crowd", they’d become ‘better friends’ as a result. "We’re now more in love than we’ve ever been," she reported.

Prayer works. Let’s determine to be people that pray the kingdom into the lives of those that God has trusted us with.

At Ebe we are running a 24-3 prayer time, in the prayer room at Ebe from Sunday 27th - Wednesday 30th April. This will be an opportunity for people to sign up to an hour slot to pray specifically for non-Christian friends and also for Lockleaze ‘THE NOISE’ weekend. Sign up on Sunday or online on Ebe’s website.
