It seems only fair that the quality products we eat and drink should provide decent livelihoods for the people who grow their ingredients.
We couldn’t imagine that not being the case in our lives. But that’s exactly the problem facing cocoa and coffee farmers, tea and honey producers throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia. They’re often forced to sell their harvests for less than it costs to grow them.

At Ebe, we use Fairtrade tea and coffee and encourage people to start to use Fairtrade products at home and introduce them to family, friends and into our places of work.

From 3rd - 16th March, it is Fairtrade Fortnight, where we will be once again involved as a church in helping raise awareness and promote Fairtrade products. We will be organising a Supermarket stand at Sainsburys Filton, on at least one day. If you would like to help out, then please contact Stewart North. Also, get in touch if you want to promote Fairtrade in your workplace.
